Our Company Through the Years

It all started back in 1950 when Bama Concrete was founded by Howard and Joan Davis. The first wooden structure plant was used to fill a 1947, three yard mixer truck.

First Mac truck was a 7 yard mixer added in 1959. Shown is driver Bill McClusky.
Howard and Joan Davis' son Ronald started working in the family business as a teenager and is now the company President.

And now a third generation of the Davis family is involved in running Bama Concrete. Chris Davis, Tyler Davis and Rhonda Davis Robinson all work in Operations.

Our newest mixers can handle 10 1/2 yards. Since 1974 Bama Concrete has operated from its modern corporate office facilities at 1608 17th Street in Tuscaloosa. The central mix plant can batch 250 yards per hour.

Every Project is a Lasting Reminder
of our Commitment to Quality and Service.
