May 1st 2010 Bama Concrete products Co. Inc. acquired seven plants in Jefferson and Shelby
County to expand our market in central Alabama.

Our newest mixers can handle 10 1/2 yards. Since 1974 Bama Concrete has operated from its modern corporate office facilities at 1608 17th Street in Tuscaloosa. The central mix plant can batch 250 yards per hour.

Howard and Joan Davis’ son Ronald started working in the family business as a teenager and is now the company President.
And now a third generation of the Davis family is involved in running Bama Concrete. Chris Davis, Tyler Davis and Rhonda Davis Robinson all work in Operations.

It all started back in 1950 when Bama Concrete was founded by Howard and Joan Davis. The first wooden structure plant was used to fill a 1947, three yard mixer truck.
